Café Crem launches Ideal Coffee Método Mieludo
Café Crem has launched under its brand of 100% Arabica coffees, Ideal Coffee, the new product Método Mieludo. It is a specialty coffee, single-farm since everything comes from the Finca Los Lirios, property of the brand, in the province of Barahona (Dominican Republic).
Its particular flavor with sweet undertones comes from its natural preparation process. It is the Mieludo process, patented by the brand. A process by which the coffee fruit, once pulped, is dried preserving its own honey, called mucílago, a gelatinous layer that covers the bean. By means of drying under the shade, this honey is achieved by capillary impregnation in the grain. This, combined with an adequate roasting so as not to hide this natural sweetness, makes for a very special coffee, designed to be taken with less sugar.
