Following reseeding
We are not only doing the weeding but we are also continuing with the reseeding. We have improved the rhythm of the previous weeks, we have already managed to sow 1,500 plants in one day, although this was the record, but we are normally at an average of 1,200 plants sown per day.
No activity is spared from the rain and this week we have not been able to work on Tuesday and Friday because of the rain.We have already finished reseeding Rebeca’s plantation and we have two days left to finish the reseeding of Las Delicias.
No activity is spared from the rain and this week we have not been able to work on Tuesday and Friday because of the rain.
In order to develop this activity, we have made some small adjustments and have organised ourselves as follows:
- Tracing. 3 persons
We have not changed this workshop, we have the same people as always.
- Preparation of stakes. 5 persons
Here we have increased the number of people to do this workshop, we found that sometimes the plotters had to stop plotting due to a lack of stakes.
- Hoyado. 13 personas
We have reduced by 2 people. In other words, we now have 10 people with beaks and only 3 with Coas.
- Fertiliser application. 2 persons
The same people are still here, we have not changed anything from this workshop.
- Chargers. 4/7 persons
This workshop, although it may not seem like it, is of vital importance, because if we are not able to deliver the plants to the planters on time, we will create a bottleneck. At some points we have had to extend by 3 people, because due to the rain we have not been able to get to Rebeca with the van and we have had to do it on foot.
- Sowers. 3 persons
They remain the same and we hope that they will be efficient, because it depends on them that we will have fruit in 3 years’ time. !!!!!
- Collector of plastic bags. 1 person
One person follows, in principle it is a workshop with little science, but of vital importance, for the ecosystem !!!!
In the end, we are 34 people, to carry out this activity and we have managed to plant 1200 plants per day, although the record is 1500 plants!!!!
