Farms located in the province of Matagalpa, in the middle of the Parque Nacional de la Cordillera del Arenal between 1.056 and 1.350m of altitude. Destined to the cultivation of different varieties of coffee such as Caturra, Catuaí and Bourbon.
It is characterized for having the coffee-trees under shade of the autochthonous trees of the zone as the Guama. Obtaining a more prolonged and uniform ripeness.
Due to the condition to cultivate under shade, the range of sowing ranges between 2.500 and 4.000 coffee-trees per hectare. The temperature between summer and winter is well differentiated, obtaining fluctuations of more than 15 degrees. The rate of annual rainfall is 2,000 mm.
