India Monsoon Malabar is a coffee grown in the area of Bangalore, in the Malabar Coast in south-western India, between the Western Ghats and the Arabian Sea.
The culturing of this coffee is carried to 1.200 m and has a particularity and is that it only has 1.100 plants per hectare, which makes of it a coffee of little productivity. The harvesting is selective, only the ripe grains are chosen, therefore 5 passes are realized by every coffee-tree up to gathering the totality of the grain.
The dry and cold winds of Monsoon (Monsó) make this coffee has a very particular flavour.
